Sweet and Salty Granola Bars

RECIPE DETAILS

These bars deliver a delicious mix of sweet and salty flavors AND quick preparation time.


3 cups  Highwood Crossing Organic Rolled Oats
1 cup  toasted sliced almonds
1 cup  sunflower or pumpkin seeds (or combo!)
1 cup  dried cranberries
300mL  sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup butter  softened
1/4 cup  Highwood Crossing Organic Canola Oil
1 tsp - 1 Tbsp  kosher salt, depending on your taste


Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 15”x10” pan with parchment paper, overlapping the sides for easy removal of bars.


Combine all ingredients but chocolate chips in a large bowl. Mix well. Press evenly into prepared pan. Spread thickly at edges so browning is even.


Bake in oven 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly then cut into bars. (If not able to cut bars in pan, remove the parchment paper with the bars on top and use a large knife to slice).
